The local Snyder First Church of the Nazarene was organized
in 1935. The Nazarene denomination began out of a holiness
revival. They took pride in 1935, as well as today , in bringing a
holiness message. Through the years, there have been three
locations. The church has been in its present location for 20 years.
The Church of the Nazarene was organized October 8, 1908, in Pilot
Point, Texas. The Church of the Nazarene has since made its
home in Kansas City, Missouri.
