  • Broze sculpture of white buffalo on northwest corner of courthouse square.
  • The Scurry County Library located at 1916 23rd St. has special collections including genealogical research materials.
  • The Scurry County Museum on the campus of Western Texas College traces county history and hosts special exhibits. Call 325-573-6107 for information.
  • Towle Memorial Park on South College Avenue has picnic tables, playground equipment, a prairie dog town, tennis courts, and summer swimming.
  • White Buffalo Park - 10 miles northwest of Snyder on FM 253. Nearby is the place where J. Wright Mooar killed the white buffalo in 1876.
  • Lake J.B. Thomas, 23 miles southwest of Snyder
  • Lake Alan Henry 30 miles north of Snyder
  • 9-hole golf course at Western Texas College
  • 9-hole golf course at Snyder Country Club
  • The remodeled Ritz Community Theatre on the south side of the square
  • Snyder Cemetery, a Designated Texas Historic Cemetery. North Avenue E at FM 1673
