Requests for lookups may be emailed to the Scurry County Genealogical Society. Before sending, please take a minute to read our insturctions below.

We have a few members that have generously volunteered to assist others by doing lookups for Scurry County. They are not professional genealogists and can only devote a limited amount of time and effort to searches. Your request may be put on a waiting list depending on the volume of questions we are receiving at the time. Please be patient someone will get to it as soon as possible.
Your request MUST BE SPECIFIC. Please give full names as much as you know, specific years, as near as is known, and any place (city, community, etc.) names that you have. Please, only one family at a time. If your request is vague or general, we will not be able to help.
Be prepared to reimburse expenses for things like photo copies, print fees, postage, film, etc.
If you find our efforts useful, please seriously consider making a contribution to the Society. Donations allow us to continue to provide this service and to procure and preserve resources for genealogical and historical research. Any amount is greatly appreciated!
